Subtle Changes

Right now I'm surrounded by tons of books and lots and lots of colors.  If you've guessed that I'm at a library; you're right.  I came by thr library today to work on some correspondence that I never seem to find time to work on when I'm at home.

A few months ago I was fed up with the growing pile of stuff that was clamouring for my attention.  So I shooved it all in a bag with some stationary, stamps and an ink pen.  I scurried off to my local Library and went to it.  That day, that pile of neglected correspondence only took two or fewer hours to go through.  Today as I'm looking around and getting ready to go back home, I couldn't help be notice how much better I feel than when I walked in.

I'm not sure if it's the colors, the low buzz of accomplishment that's almost always here, or if it's something that I simply won't be able to put my finger on.  No matter what it is, I'm grateful for the opportunity to just sit for a few moments and enjoy being fully me in my current surroundings.  I'm so happy that I'm not in so much of a rush to accomplish whatever that I miss out on the subtle change that has taken place in me in a very short period of time.

Peace,

Andrea
