I FEEL GOOD! I have only lapsed once since I began the Atkins diet for the second time. All because of some potatoes that everyone was raving about. But to my pride, I only consumed two small chunks of those yummy potatoes. I have not weighed myself, but the difference in the way my clothes fit is noticeable. I am well on my way to wearing a size 14.
Most impressive to me is that I'm able to stay awake much longer most often without a nap. I still wake up between 5:00 - 6:00 AM every day; but I'm normally not sleepy before midnight as opposed to being wiped out at 8ish every night whether or not a mid day nap was involved. Last week I invested in two pieces of fitness equipment. I actually re-arranged our living room in order to fit them into the flow of our living scheme.
One of the best benefits of the Atkins diet for me the first time I was on it and now is that I do not have a desire to snack all day long. Often in fact dinner time arrives before I realize that I have not eaten since breakfast. So far I'm very happy about my decision to become fit for life. This diet has not been painful to me at all - especially since I keep a few allowable snacks and a bottle of water with me in case a time crisis occurs; which it has a few times.
