I recently read an e-message which stated, in part, that Ready Made magazine will soon stop publishing. What a blow. I really like that magazine and magazines like that. The message I received didn't site a reason; but I suspect it has a lot if not all to do with the economy.
As much as I will miss perusing copies of Ready Made after their last edition is published, I am also thankful that my creativity did not begin and will not end with that publication. Which brings me to the reason for this message. Change is inevitible. Change is life's only constant. Change is the vehicle through which we get better as people and as artist. I want to encourage you to remain constant in spirit, but to do so would be to ask you to become or remain stagnant in life. So instead, I wish you change.
Change your goals from achievable to grandious, change your outlook from optimistic to rose colored, change everything about yourself and your circumstances from what it is to your idealized version of what it will be; and in so doing, become better.
