I do understand that there are times when junkies, trouble makers, thieves... have to be ousted for the sake of peace and safety. There is also the phenomenon where people love each other but simply do not gel or get along in spite of how hard they try. That's kismet/ fate.
Today I want to offer love, peace and encouragement to people who either don't have a family or don't have the benefit of a close supportive family who loves you. I have learned a lot from living far from home and from not having a stable support system for my kids and I. I hope the following truths that I live by will will help you.
- No one knows how you feel/ what you think unless you tell them.
- It is not your job to determine how anyone should feel about you or treet you.
- There are lots of people in the world who will love you just as you are. Focus on the people who like you. Forget about those who don't (even if they are blood kin).
- Forgive them all! The first few times you determine to forgive people who hurt you it may not feel like you've forgiven them. I've learned that there is a two fold key. The first is forgive them; the second is release them. Additionally, as a bonus - start being thankful for the people in your life who are there because they want to be. That's where my good, warm and fuzzy, feelings come from.
In joy,
Andrea

Very true. I had to learn to forgive myself before I could truly let go of resentments towards others. I looked at my part and make amends. It is a great thing.
