Tochi day 5:

BEING THE BEST FRIEND
This is the thought: Genuine personal relationships—between spouses,
siblings, colleagues, business partners, parents and children, for
instance—are those that involve a no-holds-barred friendship.

Best friends constantly love, correct, uphold, reprove, protect,
comfort and enjoy each other. They dream and pray for each other.
Best friends are slow to anger and quick to forgive; they always
believe each other's best intentions. Best friends provide safe space
for each other. Best friends do not compete against each other for
affection or attention; instead, they bring out the best in each
other every time they interact. Best friends make the effort and time
to invest in their relationship.

Are you being the best friend you can possibly be?

This is the intention: I am the best friend that sticks closer than a
brother/sister!

I have learned to have good friends and care about them through Al-Anon. I don't think that I really knew how to do that before. And I am still a work in progress. Great post!
