Did You Walk Away From Your Special Talent?

Success matters.  If you're not sure about this - ask someone who stopped using their special talent/ gift.

DID YOU WALK AWAY FROM YOUR SPECIAL TALENT?

This morning I awakened to the thought of a movie I watched a while back.
In the movie there was a couple living a hum drum life in order to hide a tremendous talent they each had.
There talent (especially the wife's) was so incredible that people who were intimidated by her and her accomplishments sought to kill them both.

I wrote that their existence was hum drum - but I didn't tell you that they (especially the wife) had become hateful people - showing mercy to no one.  (Given their occupation their lively hood pretty much depended on them being hard nosed; but not cruel.)  As the movie progressed.  Many of the towns people got hurt a few of them even died because this couple with their incredible gift refused to use it; that is until the terrorist encroached on their comfort.

The long and short of my thoughts about this particular movie are:
1) Whe we don't use the gifts/ special talents we were created with - we hurt more than just ourselves.
2)  When we have gifts/ special talents that we don't use - we don't loose them  They may become rusty or lay dormant; but they are ours.
3)  We can't hide from who we are.
